This blog began with my experience in Peru as an Incarnate Word Missionary and will continue to chronicle the footsteps on the path I make by living each moment through thoughts, questions, reflections, and stories. The title comes from the Antonio Machado poem "Caminante no hay camino" which tells how there is no road, the road is made by walking (se hace camino al andar). Blessings on the journey! La Sagrada 26/2/10
In believing that God is relation, I always find the divine presence in community. Friday night was our last English conversation for this cycle of classes and the house was full of students from the various English classes and levels and even a few people not in class but who come to practice their English. It is always beautiful to see how friendships develop and a sense of community among those who spend time together and are engaged in a common effort; in this case learning English. So through the compartir and sharing and the desire of those present to continue studying and spending time together I saw God's presence at work in the new relationships that develop each cycle.
